Thursday 9th April (Pesto and Cheese Whirls)

Pesto and Cheese WhirlsWe have been fairly tired this week as the journey from Sunday and Monday has caught up with us and we were straight back to work/ school on Tuesday! To make things even better we are going through really complex grammar at school at the moment so there are times when I feel like my head is going to explode! Pesto and Cheese Whirls Yesterday I felt like I needed to do something relaxing after a hectic morning at school. I have been reading through my English food magazines and found a recipe for Cheese and Pesto Whirls. (recipe in BBC Goodfood magazine April 2015 edition). I had to adapt it a little as I couldn’t find any semi-dried tomatoes. They may be a bit messy in appearance but taste delicious! When Tim got home from work he proceeded to eat 4 in a row so they were a definite hit! I haven’t read the whole magazine yet but one thing that did jump out at me was a recipe for cruffins (a croissant and muffin hybrid!) has anyone heard of these before?! I have heard of cronuts but this one was new to me!! Something rather exciting is happening on Saturday which I can’t tell you about just yet but will let you know as soon as I can! I hope you have all had a good week! You can find me on Facebook and Instragram Lucya
