We have been fairly tired this week as the journey from Sunday and Monday has caught up with us and we were straight back to work/ school on Tuesday! To make things even better we are going through really complex grammar at school at the moment so there are times when I feel like my head is going to explode!
Yesterday I felt like I needed to do something relaxing after a hectic morning at school. I have been reading through my English food magazines and found a recipe for Cheese and Pesto Whirls. (recipe in BBC Goodfood magazine April 2015 edition). I had to adapt it a little as I couldn’t find any semi-dried tomatoes. They may be a bit messy in appearance but taste delicious! When Tim got home from work he proceeded to eat 4 in a row so they were a definite hit! I haven’t read the whole magazine yet but one thing that did jump out at me was a recipe for cruffins (a croissant and muffin hybrid!) has anyone heard of these before?! I have heard of cronuts but this one was new to me!! Something rather exciting is happening on Saturday which I can’t tell you about just yet but will let you know as soon as I can! I hope you have all had a good week! You can find me on Facebook and Instragram Lucya
Looks like savory heaven! ๐
Thank you! My husband has completely lost his sweet tooth so I am now baking more savoury things ๐
I wish my husband would be as adventurous! He hates savory, all he ever wants is sweets! ๐
These look delicious. I’m such a sucker for a savoury, cheesy scroll, and I usually crave savoury way more than sweet!
