So my last update post wasn’t as positive as I was hoping it would be. It is a post I didn’t want to write as at the time, I felt like leaving my job had meant I had failed. However, I have just ended a trial two weeks at a different Patisserie and I love it! I also don’t start work until 5am (which feels like a lay in compared to the 2am starts). I am starting full time on 1st December!! 🙂
Last week Tim asked me to make 50 brownie mince pies for him to take to work. The recipe I use is by Paul A Young (you can find the recipe here). I made these for the first time last year and have recommend the recipe to a lot of people! I also much prefer the homemade mincemeat to its shop bought equivilent (which is a good thing as we can’t buy it here!) also, it is so easy to make!
Tonight I am going to my first ever thanks giving dinner! I am really looking forward to it but it could be quite testing for my German!
Anyway, now that I have everything a bit more together you can expect me to be updating the blog a little more regularly!
