Chocolate Mousse Cake

Last weekend I tried another recipe from my new cookbook – Bread, Cake, Doughnut, Pudding by Justin Gellatly. I made the Chocolate Mousse cake – probably one of the best chocolate cakes I have ever eaten! It was quite easy to make and I loved the contrast of the two layers. Today I am making butter fingers from the book, hopefully they will turn out just as well! If you are looking for a new book I would definitely recommend this one, there is just so many recipes I want to try!

I am still waiting for responses from the letters I sent out last week (I doubt I will hear anything now) and I haven’t had a response from the application I handed in on Tuesday to the Konditiorei. I am very impatient when it comes to waiting for responses! School has been going really well recently, I feel like I am making some progress. I have also started helping at a toddlers gym class which is forcing me to talk to more German people which I think will be a huge help! Trying to understand toddlers in a different language though can be quite challenging!

I am now off to make some Pikelets!
