Thursday 1st December (starting a new apprenticeship and a gingerbread wreath)

Processed with VSCOcam with f2 preset

Today was my first day at my new apprenticeship! It was a very good day, but as it is the run up to Christmas now we are really busy! I will give you a better update when I have been there for a couple of weeks.

Last week I made a gingerbread Christmas wreath. I have seen a few pictures of them floating around on the internet but I decided to try and make my own! I took my main inspiration from a recipe on BBC Good Food.

I took a few pictures and put one on Instagram. The next day the photo was repostedΒ on the BBC Good Food Instagram account and also got reposted on mycupcakeaddiction. If you haven’t heard of mycupcakeaddiction it is a youtube channel which has some amazing recipes! This may not seem like a lot to some people, but I love it when other people like my baking and my food photography! It is something I have worked really hard on in the last year.

If you would like to have a go at making your own wreath, here is the recipe from BBC Good Food.

Next Tuesday I will be sharing a recipe for chocolate covered ginger cake! It is really simple to make and tastes amazing!
